Pratt & Whitney

Coontz Roofing completed a nearly 800,000-square-foot roofing project for a new Pratt & Whitney warehouse in Oklahoma City, meeting rigorous weather and performance standards while working through winter conditions. Leveraging Carlisle’s FleeceBACK TPO system and finishing 45 days ahead of schedule, the team not only delivered durable, high-performance protection but also installed a massive custom logo on the roof—underscoring both craftsmanship and efficiency on a high-profile job. Cherokee Casino - Grove, OK

Coontz Roofing was honored to have been chosen by the Cherokee Nation and Redstone Construction to perform the single ply and standing seam roofing systems on this new casino project in Grove, OK. The single Ply system used was a 60 mil PVC membrane manufactured by Fibertite and was applied using the Rhino Bond mechanically attached method. Underneath the membrane were two layers of poly ISO insulation board and a ¼ Dens Deck cover board. We used the Berridge Zee-Lock roofing panel system for the Sanding Seam areas over solid decking and self-adhering underlayment. The Fibertite PVC membrane and Berridge Zee-Lock panel systems received 20-year manufacturer warranties.

State Fair Park - Oklahoma Building

The Oklahoma Building at the State Fair Park in Oklahoma City badly needed a new roofing system. The structure was an existing metal building with a spray foam and coating roof system applied several years ago, and it was deteriorating rapidly. Coontz Roofing was able to strip off the old foam and coating system to the top of the ridges of the metal R panel and add two layers of new insulation to increase the structure's efficiency. On top of the insulation, we added a ½’ Dens Deck cover board to protect the insulation and applied a Carlisle 115 mil FleeceBack TPO roof membrane with Carlisle’s Flex Fast low-rise foam adhesive. With this assembly, the owner received a 20-year roof warranty, including coverage against up to 3” size hail damage.

Henryetta Public Schools

Henryetta Public Schools was dealing with a leaking, aged, modified roofing system that needed attention. With not having the funding to replace the aged roofs at the high school and elementary level, Coontz Roofing gave them a solution to their problem at a much smaller cost than they could manage. That solution was a liquid silicone roofing system that can be applied to many aged roofing types to “renew” the roofing system and extend the current roof's life while keeping it watertight. In this case, Henryetta was able to extend the life of their current roof system and get a warranty for 20 years.

Allergy Clinic of Tulsa

After many years of battling leaks on their existing metal roof system, Allergy Clinic of Tulsa chose Coontz Roofing to replace their old standing seam roof with a new Berridge Zee Double Lock roof panel system as well as installing new Berridge FW-12 wall panels around the front entry of the building. Coontz Roofing removed the old roof panel system and the felt paper over the wood deck. We then applied a self-adhesive ice and water shield underlayment before installing the new Berridge Double Zee Lock standing seam roof system. Once completed, the owner received a 20-year watertight warranty from Berridge.

Elk City Elementary School

Coontz Roofing was proud to be involved with constructing the new elementary school in Elk City, Ok, working under general contractor Joe D. Hall on this great project. This project for us consisted of installing a Carlisle 145mil White FleeceBack EPDM roofing system, which received a 30-year manufacturer warranty with additional hail damage resistant coverage up to 4” in diameter for the 30 years. The assembly of this system consisted of 4” of poly iso insulation, a dens deck cover board and 145 mils Carlisle Fleeceback EPDM adhered with Carlisle FlexFast low rise foam adhesive.

University of Tulsa - Donald W. Reynolds Center

The Donald W. Reynolds Center is the sports arena for the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a large facility, and the university is replacing the roofing system in phases as funding is available. Coontz Roofing has been the roofing contractor responsible for performing the first two phases of this great project. This has consisted of removing the old PVC membrane system and installing a new Carlisle 135 mil TPO roofing system. After all old material has been removed from the deck, we have installed a self-adhering vapor barrier, two layers of poly ISO insulation, 5/8 Dens Deck, and the Carlisle 135 mil FleeceBack TPO membrane using Carlisle’s Flex Fast low-rise adhesive. This assembly has given the University a new 30-year. Roof warranty that includes hail coverage up to 4” in diameter.
